I have been interested in magic from very young age. I have been seeing all the interesting shows taking place around the world. Recently I got a news that Magician Anand and his team members(including his son Akash) are performing in Thiruvananthpuram. I have always been an ardent fan of Jadugar Anand and his son Akash. Their fire escape shows, blindfolded bike ride, under water escape etc. are exceptionaly good. On 24th Sept. Akash performed blindfolded bike ride as Thiruvananthpuram is just 3-4 hours drive from my city, I decided to go and watch the stunt. Stunt was scheduled at
11 AM. I reached there on time. Akash was being blindfolded by a piece or cardboard, cotton and plaster of paris cut in the shape of an eye glass – held together with a band of black cloth wrapped over.Before starting off the ride a hood was also put on his face. He started his ride like a normal driver with vision does. Every turn and curve was taken very smoothly. Brakes and speed was adjusted too to avoid any collision with other vehicles. Volunteers and members of Anand's troup were with him and were following him. This stunt had a purpose, it was done to give a message to all drivers to follow trafic rules and drive safely. It was worth travelling from my city to Thiruvananthpuram to watch Akash's stunt.
